'Demographics and Psychographics'.

  1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience? 2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics? 3) What psychographic group or groups do  YOU  belong in? Camera movement and editing

 1 1) Pick  three   aspects of  camera movement  in the Minority Report clip. Identify the  type  of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. 1) Pick  three  camera  shots  from the Doctor Who scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience.   The opening  establishing shot    clearly shows the characters  talking to other person in other screen The beginning it shows they are in the room with a phone and that they have a mission     the begging it shows close up when the doctor  called and when every one show there face 2) Pick  one  camera  angle  that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience.   The  high angle shot  at looking down on the women  who has been in her bedroom and that that she has a mission  3) Pick one aspect of  mise-en-scene  from the scene and explain what connotations are being communicated to the audience. The actor was expression was confused when the doctor told them that they have to do the mission  The actor setting was set in the living room and the boy with his mum was in the basement

1) Write an analysis of the  WaterAid advert above  using denotation, connotation and analysis. What can you see? What are the deeper meanings in the advert? What does the advert communicate to the audience? How might an audience react after seeing the advert?   After seeing the advert, the audience may react in various ways. Some viewers may feel a deep sense of empathy and be motivated to take action, such as donating to organizations like WaterAid or advocating for policies that promote access to clean water. Others may feel a sense of guilt or responsibility, realizing the privilege they have in having easy access to clean water. Mise-en-scène

Costume The character at the start is wearing a white  coat. This suggests to the audience that he meant be a doctor or a scientist . Lighting the character was in a dark room and he was running. This suggests to the audience that he is running from something. Props The character  at the middle part opens with a group of friends playing a game of Dungeons & Dragons in Mike's basement.    The costume of Stranger things at the start there was a man with full white clothes. This suggests to the audience that the man might be some kind of doctor or some scientist who is working on something. The lighting of this Clip suggest something very dark like a dungeon , basement or prison. This shows the audience that this video is set in night time The setting in the basement is suggesting there are doing something secret for only for 4 people in the friend group to know about. This shows the audience they might be onto to do something there are not suppose to be doing
